As many of you know Vocal Show offers tailored Shows to clients across the UK, with performances by Wedding Singer Luca and DJ Sally. These shows are usually put together using the client’s very own wedding music requests, however what some of you may not know is that Wedding Singer Luca offers some excellent ‘Tribute Shows’. A Tribute Show is a themed show that pays tribute to a particular artiste, era, genre. Although Luca does not perform Artiste Tribute Shows he does offer themed shows paying tribute to particular types of music, for example, Italian!

ITALIAN WEDDING SINGER

As Wedding Singer Luca is of part-Sicilian origin he decided to put together a show specifically consisting of Sicilian, traditional Italian and Italian American music. These shows are highly popular with Italian and Italian – English weddings. There is something for everyone to enjoy and these particular shows are excellent for either the wedding breakfast or the early part of the evening reception. WEDDING MUSIC IN KENT

I put together the following Wedding Singer playlist for my first show of the evening at a wedding reception in Maidstone, Kent – May 2009. I began the show with the bride and groom’s first dance (Your Song) and went on from there, encouraging the wedding guests to join in with the dancing of course. There’s enough wedding music here to allow for a 45 minute show, inclusive of a little chat in-between the odd song here and there.

TAILORED WEDDING MUSIC

I made this Wedding Singer Playlist for a recent Show in Lincolnshire - April 2009. I have tailored it from the bride and groom's own wedding music requests with a few key songs added to make it into a strong Show. There's approximately one hour of wedding music here, using a mixture of 'Swing', 'Easy listening' and mostly 'Pop'. I split the Show up into 2 x 30 minute sets, with a short break after track 10, before continuing with their first dance (highlighted in bold) and the second half.

I found that this playlist best suited early to mid-evening and served well as an ice-breaker for their evening wedding reception. It works well if followed by a lively Wedding DJ playlist.
